Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane spoke a day ahead of the team’s visit to Levante —Saturday, 20:45 CET— in La Liga. Los Blancos are 19 points behind Barcelona in the table but Zidane has decided to focus on the match ahead instead of thinking about the upcoming tie against PSG in the Champions League.
“I don’t know if my players are talking about PSG but i believe that the most important thing for us is tomorrow’s match. We’re only focus on that game,” said Zidane.
Isco has not been as relevant of a player as when Bale was injured and some fans are questioning whether he will be in the team’s starting lineup going forward.
“He just has to keep working and thinking he’s an important player for us. We will have a busy schedule after our match against Real Sociedad and every player will be important. My players are happy,” added the coach.
Zidane says that La Liga isn’t over for Real Madrid.
“I don’t care if my job is on the line when we face PSG, I will get ready for our matches in La Liga because even if you say that our chances are over I don’t believe so, you just can’t say that in this sport,” said Zidane.
The French coach confirmed that both Ramos and Isco will travel with the team tomorrow as they’ve recovered from the injuries they picked up against Leganes.
