Real Madrid published a medical report on left-back Marcelo after the Brazilian defender was forced to leave Sunday’s match with a hamstring injury.

Following tests carried out on our player Marcelo by the Sanitas Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of the right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

As you can see, this medical report is identical to Modric’s, who picked up an injury some time this week. Real Madrid are keeping their cards close to their chest with these two players and also Toni Kroos, but right now they should be considered questionable for the return leg against PSG in early March.

However, Zidane explained after the win against Betis that Marcelo had told him that he thought his injury “was not too serious”, so it looks like Marcelo could have enough time to recover for the game.
