Real Madrid visit Leganes to play the game they have at hand after La Liga decided to re-schedule this one because of the FIFA Club World Cup. Needless to say, it’s an important game for Madrid to grab the third spot in La Liga table.

Los Blancos will be without key players Marcelo, Kroos, Modric (injury), Cristiano Ronaldo and Keylor Navas (rest) in this one, so this will be a good opportunity for the likes of Theo, Ceballos or Kovacic to prove their worth. Most eyes will be focused on Marco Asensio, whose great performances lately have put him in the conversation to perhaps earn a starting spot for the return leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

This won’t be an easy game for Madrid. Leganes knocked them out of the Copa del Rey last month and they are playing good football lately, so they will try to take advantage of their home-field advantage.
