Real Madrid ran out of patience with Gareth Bale and will sell the Welsh attacker next summer, according to a report from MARCA. The injuries he’s picked up throughout the last few seasons and the “lack of adaptation” to the club are among the reasons forcing Real’s hand, per that same report.
Furthermore, MARCA suggests that Bale isn’t satisfied with the role he’s been given since he came back from his injury. The attacker was expected to start against PSG last week but came off the bench instead.
Marco Asensio has been performing very well lately and Real Madrid believe that the young Spanish attacker will be able to replace Bale in the starting lineup.
Los Blancos will try to find a club willing to spend close to €90 million, but that doesn’t seem an easy task considering Bale’s reputation with injuries and also his current salary, which at €15 million/year not many clubs will be keen on matching.
