Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos will be on Juventus, Milan and Liverpool’s radar next summer, according to Calciomercato.com. Ceballos received many offers to leave Madrid on a loan deal this winter but the club decided to keep him around, even though he wasn’t getting the minutes he needs to develop as a player.
Coach Zinedine Zidane decided to play him for just 28 seconds barely three days after Ceballos was mocked by the Betis fans, the club he’s defended and supported since he was a kid. Needless to say, what happened in Betis’ stadium affected Ceballos’ morale and what happened last night was the last thing he needed. Reports from Spain suggest that Ceballos is now fairly depressed about his situation and Zidane will have to prove his trust in the player if he wants to have him on the squad come next season.
Ceballos signed for Real Madrid last summer and is only 21 years old, meaning that many clubs in Europe will most likely want to take advantage of the situation and sign one of the most promising midfielders in football.
