Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio will be back with the squad for Tuesday’s away match against Espanyol after spending Friday and Saturday away from the squad. Asensio got his wisdom tooth extracted, that being the reason why he missed Saturday’s game. He trained with his teammates on Sunday and also this Monday.

The Spanish attacker played for Espanyol on a loan deal right after he signed for Real Madrid. His performances there granted him a spot in Real Madrid’s first team and he ended up making a huge impact during the 2016-2017 season.

Asensio has been playing with a lot of confidence lately and could even feature in Zidane’s starting lineup for the upcoming match against PSG in the return leg of the Champions League’s Round of 16. Still, the BBC of Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo have also performed very well when given the chance and Zidane will possibly keep Asensio on the bench for that crucial game.
