Real Madrid announced their squad list for Tuesday’s match against Espanyol —20:00 CET—.

REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:

Goalkeepers: Navas, Casilla and Luca.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Theo and Achraf.

Midfielders: M. Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Kovacic, Ceballos and Oscar.

Attackers: Benzema, Bale, Lucas Vázquez and Mayoral.

Coach Zinedine Zidane has decided to give Cristiano Ronaldo some more rest after the Portuguese star didn’t play last Wednesday against Leganes either. Marcelo, Kroos and Modric will also miss the game and Zidane could give Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio another chance to make and impact and show they’re ready to face Paris Saint-Germain next week. Casemiro will also miss the game with an illness.

Los Blancos have played well lately and they need to keep building their confidence and momentum now that they’ve finally found their groove. Still, Zidane should use every player on his squad in order to have the starters on fresh legs when Madrid visit Paris next Tuesday.
