Real Madrid visit Espanyol after earning five consecutive wins. Los Blancos have finally found their groove and while they must keep everybody healthy, they also need to keep this good form going while they can, at least before they travel to Paris to take on PSG next week.

Los Blancos will be without Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro (rest), Modric, Kroos and Marcelo (injured), so this match will be yet another opportunity for young midfielders like Llorente, Ceballos or Kovacic to prove their worth. It’s true that Zidane could still deploy a Kovacic-Isco-Vazquez midfield with Asensio, Bale and Benzema upfront, but this seems to be a good chance to see what the young guns can do.

Other than that, Madrid should be expected to take care of business. Espanyol haven’t been great lately and while they are a strong side at home, Real’s improvements should be just enough to grant Los Blancos the three points.
