Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois talked with Sport/Foot Magazine about his future in football and whether he could end up playing for Real Madrid or not.

“There’s no pressure and if there are not any issues I will sign my extension with Chelsea. It’s true that my two children are living in Madrid with their mother and my heart is in Madrid. If Real Madrid want me they have to talk to Chelsea, but it’s true that if they do then my personal situation could have an impact, but right now all I’ll say is that I’m busy negotiating a new deal with Chelsea,” said the goalkeeper.

It definitely seems that Courtois would be keen on a move to Real Madrid just so that he could play elite football while living with his family. Still, a potential deal for the Belgian goalkeeper would be expensive for Los Blancos if he ends up signing a contract extension with Chelsea, meaning that if Courtois really wants to wear the white shirt the best he can do is put those talks on hold.
