Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will almost surely rotate his starting lineup when Real Sociedad visit the Santiago Bernabeu this Saturday. Los Blancos face Paris Saint-Germain in a crucial Champions League clash next Wednesday and the starters will need to have fresh legs for that one, although some could argue that they also need to gain some confidence after the disappointing 2-2 draw against Levante.
All things considered, it seems that players like Asensio, Kovacic or Theo could have a chance to play this Saturday. Bale should also start on the bench so that he is completely ready to go against PSG.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema seem to be set to start the game as Zidane wants them to score and grab some momentum. Los Blancos will need to convert about every chance they get against PSG and that’s something they’ve not been very good at this season, meaning that Zidane needs to take advantage of every opportunity to play his two main strikers. The same could be said about the rest of the starting lineup, but Zidane will most likely play it safe with those who need some rest.
Real Madrid’s starting XI against Real Sociedad could be: Navas, Carvajal, Nacho, Ramos, Theo, Casemiro, Kovacic, Kroos, Asensio, Ronaldo, Benzema.
