Odegaard is spending this season on a loan deal with the Dutch club and will almost certainly complete the next pre-season with Real Madrid, after which Los Blancos will decide whether they should keep him around or not.
The Norwegian sensation turned 19 years old last December and has completed some noteworthy performances for his current club, where he has shown the playmaking skills that could made him a valuable piece for Madrid in the future. This time, he has also proved that his shot from distance has to be respected, so his repertoire is still growing as he keeps developing as a player.
It seems that Real Madrid could send Odegaard on yet another loan deal next season, this time to a quality club, possibly even one in the Spanish league so that the young player can adapt to the style of football played in La Liga.
