Real Madrid drew Juventus in the Champions League Quarterfinals.
Los Blancos will need to play their best football if they want to advance to the Semifinals and have a chance of defending the European title they conquered last season. At least, they will have more than enough time to prepare for this tie given that they have nothing to play for in La Liga, so the players should be fresh and focused when they play the opening leg.
Keep in mind that Real Madrid took care of Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16 while the French side were one of the candidates to win the trophy, so Zidane’s men definitely have what it takes to beat absolutely anyone over two legs if they perform well.
The first leg will be played at the Juventus stadium with the decisive match taking place at the Santiago Bernabeu. It will be crucial for Madrid to score as many goals as possible in Turin.
Miralem Pjanic and Mehdi Benatia will miss the first leg for Juventus as they’re suspended.
