The Neymar-Real Madrid saga is alive after Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery refused to deny the possibility of the Brazilian star joining Los Blancos next summer.
“Neymar to Real Madrid? I don’t know, ask Florentino,” said Emery when asked about this matter. The Spanish coach then added the following.
“I think I’ve answered this around 30 different times. PSG’s core is a solid one with Neymar in the club,” explained Emery.
Rumors indicate that Real Madrid will go all-in for Neymar next summer, even though it seems that Los Blancos would need to spend more than €250 million to get a deal done after PSG invested €222 million just last summer to sign him away from Barcelona in what already was a very controversial saga. Apparently, Madrid would want to wrap things up and sign the deal before the 2018 FIFA World Cup kicks off, although that definitely seems a bit early for such a complex transfer.
