Gareth Bale and Luka Modric completed Saturday’s training session with the rest of the squad after missing the last few practices with minor issues. Coach Zinedine Zidane will have the whole squad at his disposal for this home match.

“Not having any games this week has done us a lot of good and has allowed us to train and recover,” said Zidane, who might still decide to make some rotations in order to keep his squad fresh and engaged for the rest of the season.

Bale could feature in the team’s starting lineup as he has been needing minutes lately. Zidane dismissed the idea of the Welsh star being unhappy with his current role but it’s clear that Bale needs to regain some confidence and prove that he can be a difference maker at the same time.

“He’s not feeling down. He’s here and is happy to be with us at this club. He’s a key part of this squad,” said Zidane when asked about Bale.
