Real Madrid published the squad list for Sunday’s home match against girona —20:45 CET—.

REAL MADRID SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Navas and Casilla.

Defenders: Carvajal, Vallejo, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo and Theo.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Asensio, Isco and Kovacic.

Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale and Lucas Vázquez.

Sergio Ramos doesn’t feature in Madrid’s squad list and will get some valuable rest. On the other hand, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale have recovered in time for this game and could even make the team’s starting lineup.

It’s still a bit shocking to see that neither Marcos Llorente nor Dani Ceballos made the squad list as Zidane still refuses to give them minutes. Things are not looking all that promising for those two men if they can’t get the minutes they need in such a game when Real Madrid can’t even compete for La Liga title anymore.

Girona have been playing good football lately and it will be tough for Madrid to beat them.
