Real Madrid host Girona as they try to keep every player fresh for the tough upcoming tie against Juventus in the Champions League Quarterfinals while also trying to secure their presence in next year’s edition of the European trophy.

Girona have been playing extremely well this season and already managed to beat Madrid when they met in Montilivi during the first half of the campaign. Los Blancos will need to complete a solid performance if they want to beat Girona tonight and they’ll have to do so without Sergio Ramos, who didn’t make the team’s squad list as coach Zinedine Zidane decided to give him some time to rest.

Key reserves as Isco or Gareth Bale could be getting a place in the starting lineup today and some needed time to regain some of their confidence and stay engaged as Madrid face the tough stretch of the season. It will be interesting to see if Zidane decides to make rotations today.
