Real Madrid offer €60 million for Brazilian goalkeeper

Real Madrid will offer €60 million to sign Roma’s goalkeeper Allison Becker, according to a report from Il Corriere dello Sport. Allison is a 25-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper who is completing a breakout season for Roma.

While Il Corriere are somewhat reliable, it would be odd for Madrid to sign this goalkeeper for €60 million when they can find an elite one for a bit more. Alisson is still a bit unproven but he has the skills and potential to be a solid goalkeeper in European football.

Either way, it’s clear that Real Madrid will try to sign a goalkeeper next summer, even if it’s one who could stay on the bench for at least one or two seasons behind Keylor Navas. The world of football knows it and it will be very tough for Los Blancos to sign a quality goalkeeper for a fair price now that it’s clear that they’ve made that one of their priorities for next summer.
