Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos continues to talk about his role with Real Madrid. Ceballos doesn’t talk to the press while he is in Madrid but he’s free to do so when he’s in Spain U21’s camp. He’s being asked about his current role and he has been sharing his thoughts.

“It’s true that I expected to play more often. I want to keep working and do my very best so that when the coach gives me the chance to play I can actually make an impact,” said Ceballos.

“It’s also true that Setien tried to sign me by Christmas, but my idea was to stay in Madrid. Many things can happen when the season ends, but I have a contract here and nobody will take my dream from me,” he added.

Ceballos said once again that Zidane apologized after playing him for just 28 seconds and added that he’s looking up to Asensio, who “made the best of his chances and now is a starter.”
