It looks like Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos will have to leave the club on a loan deal next summer and several teams are interested in his signing. Former Sevilla director Monchi would like to bring the Spanish midfielder to AS Roma, according to a report from Calciomercato.

Furthermore, the player himself confirmed that Betis coach Quique Setien tried to sign him last winter, so they could also go after Ceballos. This option would be safer for Real Madrid as Ceballos knows both the club and also La Liga, meaning that he wouldn’t need time to get used to another style of football like the one played in Italy.

While Ceballos has said many times over the last few weeks that he wants to succeed with Real Madrid, it’s clear that he will first have to earn minutes elsewhere. He’s still very young, so a loan deal to keep improving as a player makes the most sense both for the club and for the player.
