Roma president says Allison not for sale

Roma president James Pallota has addressed the rumors about goalkeeper Allison and Real Madrid’s interest.

"I don't like it when they say that Roma is like a garage sale. Pjanic had a release clause and Salah told us that he wanted to leave and didn't have much time left on his contract, so we had no choice. We've now made sure that Allison won't leave, I'm extremely happy that he's with us," said Pallota.

Apparently, Roma have extended Allison's deal with the club and probably even increased his release clause. Real Madrid will likely have to spend around €60 million to sign the Brazilian keeper, a price which could make Los Blancos think twice about whether Allison is the right player for them or not.

Either way, Real Madrid will try to upgrade that spot during the summer. A young goalkeeper with good potential who could learn and gain experience behind Navas for one or two seasons makes the most sense.
