Sergio Ramos could be suspended for the opening leg of the Semifinals

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is facing a potential suspension which could make him miss the opening leg of the Champions League Semifinals. Real's captain was in the tunnel for the last few minutes of the match and that is not allowed by UEFA when a player is already suspended. Had Ramos been injured, the situation would be different, but it isn't the case. Ramos was not allowed to be in the tunnel and the TV clearly showed him there.

Real Madrid will surely appeal the potential ban if UEFA finally decide to suspend Ramos, although these appears are unsuccessful more often than not.

Ramos' absence could be very problematic for Madrid. His leadership and skills in the center of Madrid's defensive line would be sorely missed as Wednesday's big scare against Juventus proved.

More news on whether UEFA will suspend Ramos or not for the first leg of the Semifinals will come soon.
