UEFA will not suspend Sergio Ramos for the first leg of the Champions League Semifinals, even though some reports suggested that the defender could miss that game after being seen in the tunnel for the last few minutes of the game.
Apparently, Ramos was not allowed to be on the pitch but it was OK for him to be on the stairs and also in the tunnel, that being the reason why he will not miss the first leg of the Semifinals.
Ramos' presence in the center of the defensive line will be huge for Real Madrid. His leadership was sorely missed against Juventus and it's clear that Real Madrid's odds of advancing to the Final will increase. Furthermore, it looks like Nacho will need some more time to recover from his injury, so Ramos and Varane will be required to start.
Los Blancos will know their opponent for the Semifinals shortly after 1pm CET.
