Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez has confirmed the reports which suggested that he wanted to become a coach.

“Yes, I want to be a coach. The most important thing now is to get everything done and then I’ll talk to the club in June. It’s clear that right now my colleagues are working and we will have to discuss every possibility in the future. I have to coach somewhere for a year in order to complete this course and that experience will allow me to see how comfortable I am,” said Raul.

A report from Marca indicated that Raul would coach Real Madrid Juvenil B once the next season begins. With former Real Madrid player Guti set to coach Castilla next campaign as well, there would be an opening on Juvenil A as well, in case the club and Raul himself think he is prepared to continue the excellent job Guti has been doing there.
