Real Madrid host Athletic Bilbao and it will be hard for Los Blancos not to think about the game they’ll be playing in just seven days when they visit Bayern Munich in the Champions League Semifinals.

Zidane’s men have nothing to play for in La Liga after their poor first half of the season. That means that Zidane will be able to manage his squad and prepare each and every player for the match against Bayern. Still, it seems that the French coach will play most of his starters against Bilbao, perhaps to gain some confidence and find who will be able to contribute the most in just a week.

This match will present an interesting storyline with goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was rumored to be on his way to Real Madrid until Zidane decided that he did not want to sign anyone during the winter transfer window. Kepa ended up signing a contract extension and will surely be willing to show Madrid the kind of keeper they refused to sign.
