Date and time set for El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona

La Liga has confirmed that the last El Clasico of the 2017-18 season will be played on Sunday, May 6th at the Camp Nou. Barcelona could potentially clinch the title on that match even though it’s clear that they will become La Liga champions sooner or later.

Barcelona beat Madrid 0-3 at the Santiago Bernabeu the last time these two teams met and Zidane’s men will surely try to earn revenge from that very disappointing loss. Still, if Real manage to advance to the Champions League Final they could very well be thinking about that match instead, and rightfully so. El Clasico will always be a monumental game but not so much when you can win your third straight Champions League title.

Real Madrid will face Bayern —away—, Leganes and Bayern —home— before visiting Barcelona’s Camp Nou, so Zidane’s men will have time to get ready for Barça in those competitive games.
