Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and goalkeeper Keylor Navas went to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Peña Madridista Ramon Mendoza and Perez had some praise for the team’s starting keeper.
“Keylor, you’ve earned the support of each and every madridista with your talent, dedication and performances. You made the values of Real Madrid yours and we’re pride of having you as our goalkeeper, no matter what they say,” said Perez.
The club were reportedly interested in signing another goalkeeper last winter and Perez talked about that very same matter as well.
“You know how this club is, you have to fight every single day but I’m sure you will stay with us for many years to come,” added Perez.
Real Madrid visit Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League Semifinals next Wednesday.
“We want to keep making history and improve Real Madrid’s legend. We will be facing one of Europe’s greatest teams like Bayern but we will try our very best. Our players will give their best on the field and we have a great coach,” concluded Real’s president.
