Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon has joined defender Dani Carvajal on the team’s injury report with a shoulder sprain he picked up during the first half of the match against Bayern Munich. Isco had to leave the field before the second half kicked-off and Zidane confirmed during the post-match press conference that the Spanish midfielder was going through quite some pain.

All things considered, Isco will also miss the home match against Bayern next Tuesday. Real Madrid have not published a medical report on neither Isco nor Carvajal yet these two players will need a miracle to recover in time for that crucial game.

If Isco can’t play, expect Marco Asensio to start alongside both Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo upfront with Lucas Vazquez playing in the right-back spot if Nacho doesn’t recover in time. Both Isco and Carvajal should be ready in two or three weeks, but coach Zidane will not rush them.
