Real Madrid published a medical report on defender Dani Carvajal, who had to leave last Wednesday’s game against Bayern Munich with a hamstring injury.
After the tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Sanitas Medical Services on our player Dani Carvajal, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the left femoral biceps hamstring. His recovery will continue to be assessed.

It looks like Dani Carvajal will be out for a while and will not be able to face Bayern in the return leg of the Champions League Semifinals next week. If that’s the case, Zidane and the rest of the coaching staff will be hoping to see Nacho back in time for that game. Lucas Vazquez would play as the team’s right-back if neither defender is available, and while he performed very well last Wednesday in that spot, it’s clear that he is not a pure defender and could struggle, so Carvajal’s injury could be problematic.
