Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon had to leave the field of play during Wednesday’s match against Bayern with a shoulder sprain and the club published a medical report with details of his injury.
After the tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Sanitas Medical Services on our player Isco, he has been diagnosed with a left acromioclavicular sprain. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
Isco’s presence in next Tuesday’s home game against Bayern seems quite unlikely, just like Dani Carvajal. However, his absence wouldn’t hurt Real Madrid’s depth as much as Carvajal’s given that Los Blancos have a plethora of quality players who can be deployed in the offensive line. Bale, Benzema and Marco Asensio will be fighting for his spot in the starting lineup at least for the return leg against Bayern, but coach Zidane should be expected to trust him once he gets back to the team.
