Isco Alarcon and Nacho Fernandez completed Sunday’s training session with the rest of the squad and it looks like they could be available when Real Madrid host Bayern Munich in the return leg of the Champions League Semifinals next Tuesday.
Zidane didn’t believe these two players could feature but now their presence seems much more likely.
“Nacho isn’t back training with the rest of the squad as yet and I think it’ll be difficult for him to play any part. We’ll have to have a look at it, but I don’t think it’s likely,” said Zidane last night.
Carvajal is injured and won’t be available, so Nacho’s return could be key for Zidane and the rest of the coaching staff given that Lucas Vazquez wouldn’t be required to play as a defender against Franck Ribery.
On the other hand, Zidane might not take any risks with Isco after Asensio’s performance last Wednesday.
