British referee Michael Oliver has been appointed by UEFA to be in charge of Real Madrid’s home game against Juventus in the return leg of the Champions League Quarterfinals, which will be played this next Wednesday.

Per Realmadrid.com.

English referee Michael Oliver has been appointed to referee the second-leg of the Champions League quarter-finals between Real Madrid and Juventus at the Santiago Bernabéu (Wednesday, 8:45pm CEST). It will be the first time that Oliver has overseen a Whites’ match in the competition.

Oliver has experience in the Barclays Premier League and that should be more than enough to avoid any kind of issue during Wednesday’s match. Furthermore, the 0-3 lead on aggregate for Los Blancos could make things a bit easier for him given that Real Madrid should have the game under control. Los Blancos will also be the home team so Michael Oliver should not be a problem in this game.
