Real Madrid are 90 minutes away from playing their third straight Champions League Final and luckily enough for them they have a 1-2 lead which will undoubtedly make things easier for them when Bayern visit the Bernabeu tonight —20:45 CET—. Here are three keys to the game.
- Control the tempo of the game more effectively. Real Madrid survived at the Allianz Arena. Bayern created more chances to score and controlled the game for most of the time. Real need to do better at the Bernabeu, taking advantage of their midfield and the home-field advantage. Modric and Kroos will be crucial.
- Let Cristiano Ronaldo be Cristiano Ronaldo. He will be the best player on the field tonight and he plays more comfortable with Benzema on the field, so coach Zidane should start the French attacker.
- Give Asensio the minutes he needs. This young man has proved himself capable of taking over any game with his speed, his finishing and his creativity. Zidane should give him 30 minutes —if not the start— so that he can do it once again.
