FT: What a tough game. Real Madrid had to struggle but in the end they will play the Champions League Final in Kyiv. Bayern deserve credit for their performance.

71st minute: Bayern are attacking and Zidane responds. Casemiro and Bale enter the game and will try to help their teammates.

62nd minute: James has scored Bayern's second goal in his return to the Bernabeu. He did not celebrate. It's not going to be easy.

46th minute: What a mistake by Bayern Munich! Ulreich misses a pass by his teammate and Benzema pushes the ball to the back of the net. Benzema has scored a double!

HT: Bayern have had a few chances to score and Madrid can't contain the German side on the midfield. Kovacic in particular is struggling with his decision making and has to do much better.

11th minute: Where are the Benzema haters?! The French attacker scores and makes things 1-1 after a good cross from Marcelo and a long possession.

2nd minute: Kimmich has given Bayern the early lead after just two minutes. Real Madrid have started the game with zero intensity and this is worrying already.

Crucial game for Real Madrid as they host Bayern Munich in the return leg of the Champions League Semifinals trying to advance to what would be their third straight Final in the European competition.

Real Madrid just published their starting lineup for this game. Keep in mind that neither Dani Carvajal nor Isco are available tonight.

Casemiro and Nacho don't start the game, which is quite shocking especially for the Brazilian midfielder.

Real Madrid starting XI: Navas; Lucas, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Modrić, Kroos, Kovacic; Asensio, Benzema, Ronaldo

Bayern Munich starting XI: Ulrich; Kimmich, Hummels, Süle, Alaba; Tolisso, Thiago, James, Müller, Ribéry; Lewandowski
