Real Madrid will try to sign AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson this summer, according to a report from Radio Montecarlo (RMC). Los Blancos would be looking to upgrade the goalkeeper spot and the 25-year-old would fit right in as a good option to have in case Keylor Navas enters an obvious decline.

In case you’re wondering, RMC have solid sources within Real Madrid, so this report might be reliable.

Still, Roma seem determined to make at least €100 million for this transfer so it will not be easy for Real Madrid to sign Alisson. Other clubs like Liverpool could also be interested in the goalkeeper, which would only make things tougher for Los Blancos.

All in all, it seems that Alisson and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois are on Real’s radar. Courtois’ contract expires in 2019 and Chelsea could be forced to sell the Belgian keeper this summer if he tells the club that he will not sign a contract extension, similar to what happened with Toni Kroos and Bayern Munich in 2014.
