Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic might be on Juventus’ radar this summer if Sami Khedira leaves the Italian club, according to a report from Corriere Dello Sport. Khedira would apparently be keen on a move to the Premier League, per that same report.
Inter Milan are also interested in Kovacic but it looks like coach Zinedine Zidane won’t let the Croatian midfielder leave that easily. Kovacic is still 24 years old and while he is not a starter for Madrid yet, he will get more and more minutes given that Modric will turn 33 next September.
Either way, it would be interesting to know if Kovacic is satisfied with his current role, as some players push for a place in the starting lineup more often than not, especially when they’re still young and feel like they could be starting somewhere else.
It would be a huge mistake to let Kovacic go and it’s clear that Los Blancos want to keep him around.
