Marco Asensio’s development hasn’t gone unnoticed. His agent Horacio Gaggioli revealed that Real Madrid rejected two €150 million offers from the Premier League, even though he did not name the clubs interested in his client.

“Madrid received two €150 million offers for Marco Asensio but the club rejected them. He’s got a great future ahead of him,” said Gaggioli to Cadena SER.

Luckily enough for Madrid, Asensio has a €700 million release clause on his contract, meaning that Los Blancos will have the final word on Asensio’s future, at least until his contract expires in 2023. Asensio is still 22 years old but has proved himself as one of the world’s greatest prospects with a chance of becoming a regular in the not-so-distant future.

It’s clear that he will be an undisputed starter for Madrid fairly soon, so Los Blancos should just reject every single offer they receive for Asensio. No matter the price.
