"It's been beautiful to play for Real Madrid," said the Portuguese star. When inquired about what he meant with that sentence, he added the following:
"I'll say more in the following days," concluded.

It's clear that Ronaldo wanted to send this message and wanted to be as enigmatic as possible. Right now, he is hinting at his departure from Real Madrid although he might be trying to just get a significant raise.
Reports from Spain suggest that he wants to match Neymar and Messi's salary. Real Madrid have been reluctant to give Ronaldo that kind of contract given his age, but they could think otherwise now that he has proven to be successful leading this team.
This is Ronaldo's fifth Champions League title, his fourth with Real Madrid after signing for the club in 2009.
