It only took Cristiano Ronaldo less than 24 hours to realize that he made a mistake when he suggested that he was on his way out of Real Madrid right after the final whistle in Kiev. The Portuguese player seemed much happy during the celebrations at Cibeles and even said “see you next year” to the fans when he was given the microphone.

Ronaldo himself admitted that he didn’t choose the right time to deliver those quotes when he walked by the reported on the mixed zone. “I admit this wasn’t the right time to talk about this, but something is going to happen. Now we’re celebrating the title because we achieved something extraordinary,” said Ronaldo.

However, he also added that “something is going to happen” when asked about his future again. It seems that Ronaldo feels like he deserves a better contract and also more support from the club and the fans. It will be interesting to see if he gets what he demands and ends up staying in the Spanish capital.
