Real Madrid visit Barcelona this Sunday --20:45 CET— right after earning a ticket to their third Champions League Final. Messi and Co. are also celebrating La Liga title they officially conquered a week ago, so this El Clasico will not be as intense given that neither team have anything to play for other than pride.

Los Blancos will be thinking about the Champions League Final against Liverpool so that they can stay healthy and fresh for that monumental game, while Barcelona’s stars will also need to stay healthy for the 2018 FIFA World Cup now that they’ve won La Liga.

Zinedine Zidane and his players have said on several occasions that they will not give Barcelona a guard of honour tonight but the fans at the Camp Nou probably feel like they deserve it, so expect a tough atmosphere even before the kickoff. It would be good for Real Madrid to gain some more confidence ahead of the Champions League Final and this seems to be a good chance for them to play a competitive game against a quality opponent to get everyone ready.
