Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo injured his ankle while scoring the first goal for his team and had to leave the game.

Initially, his injury seemed much worse as Ronaldo didn't even celebrate and appeared to be in a lot of pain. However, he kept on jogging and ultimately stayed on the game for some minutes until Zidane decided to give him some rest ahead of the crucial Champions League Final against Liverpool. Luckily enough for Madrid, there are still three weeks left for him to prepare and rest for that game.

Ronaldo will surely be ready to play that game though. It's now clear that the Portuguese attacker will take care of his ankle and he has more than three weeks to recover, so expect him to be in the field when Liverpool and Madrid meet in Kyiv for what will be the third straight Champions League Final for Madrid.
