UEFA appointed Serbian referee Milorad Mazic as the man in charge of the upcoming Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Milorad Mazic will referee the Champions League final, which will be play on Saturday 26 May at the Olimpiyskiy stadium in Kiev, between Real Madrid and Liverpool. It will be the fourth time that he has been in charge of a game involving the Whites.
In 2016, the Serbian official oversaw the European Super Cup final that Real Madrid won against Sevilla (3-2). In 2014/15 he refereed the quarter-final match against Atlético de Madrid at the Vicente Calderón (0-0) and in that same season he was in charge of the Group Stage match away in Basel which ended in a 1-0 win for Real Madrid.

Mazic has experience in the European competition but this will most definitely be the biggest game of his career. It will be important for him to gain control of the match early as both Liverpool and Real Madrid like to play physical.
