David De Gea is still Real Madrid’s primary target for this summer’s transfer window, according to a report from Sky Sports. If manager Jose Mourinho refuses to sell De Gea, goalkeeper Alisson Becker would be Real Madrid’s plan B, per that same report.

Madrid have been pursuing De Gea for quite some time now but that transfer would be quite expensive this summer. Los Blancos almost completed the signing of the Spanish goalkeeper three years ago but the paperwork could not be completed in time.

Keep in mind that De Gea’s agent Jorge Mendes reportedly told Real Madrid CEO Jose Angel Sanchez that it’s now or never for Madrid if they want to sign the goalkeeper.

Both teams could also be engaging in transfer talks later this summer as Manchester United might try to sign Gareth Bale away from Madrid. Either way, it seems that Madrid want to sign another goalkeeper this summer.
