Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane talked to the press for the first time since he left the club after winning three straight Champions League titles. The French manager didn’t want to reveal where he will coach next, though.

“I’m resting right now and I don’t know what I’ll do. The most important thing is the decision I made, we’ll see what happens next,” said Zidane.

The coach himself said during his farewell that he won’t be coaching for a year. However, some reports suggest that the Qatar National Team will offer him €50 million/year to prepare their team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be played there. Other rumors indicate that he will take over Thomas Tuchel if PSG’s new coach doesn’t manage to take the French side to the next level. Zidane could also serve his country if France decide to let Didier Deschamps go, something which could actually pave Benzema’s way to return to the French national team.
