WATCH: Nacho Fernandez’s stunning strike gives Spain the lead vs. Portugal

Wow.

The season may be over, but Real Madrid players are still doing amazing things around the world. Portugal and Spain are facing off in the group stage of the World Cup and three goals have already come from Los Blancos players.

Cristiano Ronaldo has two goals, one a penalty and one off of a dreadful mistake from David De Gea. But it’s Nacho Fernandez who has upstaged his club teammate with one of the best goals that will probably be scored at this summer’s tournament:

With the score level at two, the Real Madrid full back found himself alone at the top of the box and the ball coming his way after a clearance. He struck a first-time volley that perfectly caressed off one post, then the other and crossed the line for a stunning goal.

It’s only the fourth match of the tournament, but this could very well be front-runner for Goal of the Tournament. What a hit.
