Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker so that he can join the club this summer, according to a report from Sky Italia. However, Roma would’ve rejected Madrid’s last bid of €55 million and would be seeking close to €80 million, per that same report.
Los Blancos will not send that kind of offer, so a deal seems unlikely at the moment, even more so if Alisson refuses to publicly state that he wants to join Real Madrid. Either way, it appears that the Brazilian keeper is Madrid’s main target to upgrade the goalkeeper spot this summer.
Alisson will make his debut in the 2018 FIFA World Cup when Brazil face Switzerland later today. He completed a magnificent season with Roma and other clubs like Liverpool appear to be after him, although Alisson seems keen on making his move to the Spanish capital. Roma don’t need to sell, so Madrid will need to be patient.
