Real Madrid ready to spend €150 million on Milinkovic-Savic?

Real Madrid are very interested in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and would be ready to spend €150 million to sign the player, according to a report from Il Corriere Dello Sport.

Milinkovic-Savic completed a very solid season with Lazio and also a fine debut in the 2018 World Cup for Serbia. He’s 23 years old and can play deep and also behind the striker, so his potential is definitely very interesting.

However, it doesn’t seem likely that Los Blancos will spend that much money on a midfielder considering that they’ve got their bases covered with Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Kovacic and even Dani Ceballos. Furthermore, Milinkovic-Savic’s father was quoted saying that it’d be better for his son to join a bigger Italian team like Juventus before leaving the country, so it seems that Juve have the upper hand here.

While Milinkovic-Savic might be a very intriguing player, if Lazio set a €150 million price tag expect Real Madrid to look elsewhere.
