Portugal v Morocco: Group B - 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia

Crucial match for Portugal as they try to win the group against an Iran side which still have the chance to advance to the Round of 16 if they beat Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. Assuming Spain manage to beat Morocco, Portugal will also need to win their game by as many goals as possible, given that goal average could be the decisive factor if both Portugal and Spain win.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in great form this World Cup, scoring a hat-trick in the opening game against Spain and also the game-winning goal against Morocco. The Portuguese star reportedly wants a new deal with Real Madrid and his performances in this tournament certainly put some pressure on Florentino Perez and his board.

Spain struggled against Iran because Carlos Queiroz’s team defend well, so Portugal will need to play with creativity if they want to earn the three points in tonight’s game.
