Former Real Madrid player Kaka shared his thoughts on the rumors suggesting that Neymar could leave Paris Saint-Germain to join the Spanish club this very same summer.
“It’s a personal decision, if he signs for Real now, maybe they’ll say he only went to Paris to build a bridge to get to Madrid,” said Kaka to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “But if that’s what he wants, he has to do it and be ready to manage the situation,” he added.
Neymar joined PSG last summer after the French club paid €222 million to trigger his release clause, so Madrid would have to spend more than that to sign the Brazilian star. It seems clear that while Neymar might want to leave PSG, Madrid will not pay that much on a single player right after winning their third straight Champions League title, so Neymar might be forced to wait a few more years.
