Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius made two horrific mistakes in the Champions League Final against Real Madrid. Apparently, he suffered a concussion when he collided with Ramos when the game was still 0-0 and that was the reason behind his bad performance, according to doctors who examined the German goalkeeper at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Karius traveled to the United States so that he could visit Dr. Ross Zafonte, who is an expert in sport concussions. Liverpool advised their goalkeeper to travel there and it turns out that this concussion probably changed the course of the whole game.

Liverpool defender Van Dijk pushed Ramos towards his own goalkeeper to prevent a potential header from the Spanish captain, and while Ramos’ clash with Karius isn’t intentional, Liverpool fans will surely feel like Madrid’s victory is now unfair.

Karius will recover just fine from this collision, according to the same doctors who determined that he suffered a concussion during the game.
