Tonight’s round-up. Treat it like an open thread for all Real Madrid related things. Tomorrow we’ll be covering both of Croatia’s and Germany’s games, as well as keeping you up to date with the managerial hunt as things transpire. Om Arvind is also taking a crack at a Zidane mailbag sometime this week. Hit him up on Patreon or Twitter to get your questions in.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s son scores a stunner
Cristiano’s eldest son, ‘Cristianinho’, came on the pitch after Portugal’s 3 - 0 win over Algeria at Estadio Da Luz to show his skills:
O apito final não quer dizer que acabe o espectáculo. Cristiano Ronaldo e Cristianinho: tal pai, tal filho.#ConquistaOSonho

Robert Pires weighs in on Zinedine Zidane’s decision
Robert Pires, Zidane’s ex teammate in the French national team, and victim of Real Madrid’s onslaught in this year’s Corazon Classic, weighed in on Zidane’s decision. He agrees with our podcast crew — Zidane’s reasoning was completely logical.
“I think for him it’s good news he left Real Madrid. He loves a new challenge,” Pires told Sky Sports.
”He’s competitive and I think he can find a good solution, and he can find a new [type of] football, because you know the Premier League and LaLiga is not the same football.
”If he wants to try the Premier League he will find a new club, no problem for him.”
